ASU Birthday and Noise Festival
2010 March 10

Dear musician,
You are cordially invited to make mass musical noise in celebration of ASU's 125th anniversary.
On wednesday, March 10 at noon, bring your instruments and voices to the area between the school of music and the fine arts building (near the pyramid staircase). From this point, we will begin a mass musical walking tour through campus. You will play/sing happy birthday in your own key/tempo, and any other loud proclamations you would like to make. It will be a scene of madness or great dignity, whatever we make of it. After a 10 minute procession, everyone will end up on the library lawn and play a huge C major chord. Then it's over. This event will be something like a flash mob. Bring your cameras.

March 10 also happens to be Chuck Norris' 70th Birthday, so renditions of the walker texas ranger theme song are highly encouraged.

Be there. When was the last time the entire school of music made music together?
