I like being versatile and flexible. I enjoy tailoring the music to suit the acoustics, the instrument, and the audience.
Polish music
My passion is performing music from my home country, Poland. Since the very beginning of my performance experiences I have been incorporating this music in my recitals. I am proud of this heritage, and I wish to continue the legacy of Polish organists.
Mikołaj z Krakowa (16th century) – Preambulum in d 0:52

Early music
Since I read Harnoncourt's "Music as Speech" and heard his L'Orfeo recording in my early years of studies in Poland, I was fascinated with new ways of interpretation. I continued my studies in Amsterdam, where I had a chance to visit and play on a regular basis on instruments from the Renaissance and Baroque eras.
Johann Jakob Froberger (1616-1667) – Toccata in d (1649) 4:06

Romantic music
I travelled through Germany and France to play and listen to the finest of 19th century instruments: Ladegast, Sauer, Walcker, Cavaille-Coll. The energy, lyricism, and technical challenge of music written in this period hooked me quite early on.

Contemporary music and improvisation
I look for new and modern ways of expression. I enjoy playing 20th century as well as newly written music. Sometimes it feels right to improvise.
